Caddo Parish Mugshot Law
Louisiana Act 494 of 2022, codified through Code of Criminal Procedure article 234, is central to Caddo Parish jail mugshots. It restricts law-enforcement agencies from publishing or releasing booking photographs except in listed circumstances. Those include release to help apprehend a fugitive, a public-safety or imminent-threat reason, a court order, release after conviction, plea, or nolo contendere, and certain serious charge categories. Caddo Parish Public Photo Limits

Caddo Parish Mugshot Removal

Caddo Parish State and Federal Photos
State, federal, and immigration custody are different from a parish jail mugshot search. Louisiana DPS&C and LAVNS are used after state sentencing and for custody notification. Federal BOP and ICE locators generally should not be treated as public mugshot galleries for local arrests. BOP locates federal inmates from 1982 to present, while ICE ODLS locates people detained by ICE through A-number or biographical search paths. If a person has an ICE detainer while in Caddo Correctional Center, the local roster may show local custody. After transfer, immigration detention belongs in ICE ODLS.
